Redesign Cosmetic Package Project
1. Makeup Brand RARE BEAUTY Packaging Redesign
With Structural, Branding Improvement.
Rare Beauty aims to address challenges with brand recognition and packaging consistency to improve customer engagement. The brand plans to adopt a consistent packaging design featuring its signature pink color and brand name while redesigning packaging to indicate the differences between skin care lines.
Branded packaging will also be offered to distinguish Rare Beauty from other brands. The rectangular paper box format will be retained, and a line extension that holds additional units will be created to enhance manufacturing efficiency. A flap with product instructions will be added to create a luxurious feel. The improved packaging is expected to enhance brand recognition and increase sales and customer loyalty.

Redesign a package of kit products consisting of 2-3 product lines. Reduce the over-packaging of existing paper packages and make the package itself reusable. Using bio-materials, aim to enhance the eco-friendly and sustainable brand image that these brands are pursuing. The packaging box is housed in minimalistic, sleek, and simple packaging made from bio-materials (mushrooms) that can reusable as a natural pot.
Vegamour is a holistic approach to hair wellness that incorporates clinically tested plant-based ingredients that work in tandem to promote healthy, beautiful hair naturally, without the use of harmful chemicals. However, the packaging is not environmentally friendly. Brands are open to recommendations and ideas of such nature, especially if they involve making the packaging more eco-friendly.
